Registration for the 2012 Central California Writers Conference is now open! You have seen all the amazing agents and authors that we are bringing so now is the time to reserve your space now! We expect a sold out conference this year!

All Authors are welcome…. But no more than 100.

We keep the number of conference registrations low, allowing promising writers to rub shoulders with seasoned authors and agents in a relaxed, retreat-like atmosphere.

The beautiful Yosemite National Park creates the perfect backdrop to learn, pitch your greatest ideas, and write.

 

Early Bird Registration (Before Feb. 27th) is $175

Normal Registration is $190

One-on-Ones are $40 for 10 minutes!

Short Story Contests entry is $15. Rules and deadlines will be posted on the website.

T. Greenwood to speak at 2012 Central California Writers' Conference PDF Print E-mail

T. Greenwood

Tammy Greenwood will be speaking, teaching, and participating in panel discussions at the 2012 Central California Writers' Conference near Yosemite National Park.

Publishing as "T. Greenwood", Tammy is the author of six novels. She has received grants from the Sherwood Anderson Foundation, the Christopher Isherwood Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, and, most recently, the Maryland State Arts Council. TWO RIVERS was named Best General Fiction Book at the San Diego Book Awards last year. Four of her novels have been BookSense76-IndieBound picks. THIS GLITTERING WORLD is the most recent selection.

She teaches creative writing at both UCSD's Extension Program and at The Ink Spot. She and her husband, Patrick, live in San Diego, CA with their two daughters. She is also an aspiring photographer.

Christopher Allan Poe to Assist with 2012 Conference PDF Print E-mail

Christopher Allan PoeChristopher Allan Poe will be joining the panel of agents and authors assisting writers improve their craft at the 2012 Central California Writers' Conference.

Christopher is an author and musician from Los Angeles, CA. He writes paranormal fiction, with an emphasis in themes that shed light on social problems for women and children. His award-winning novel, THE PORTAL, is slated for release on Black Opal Books in fall of 2011.

With nearly twenty years experience in marketing and promotion, he is a model for the new era of ePublishing, where more responsibility falls to the author.

On Fridays, he meets with his private critique group, featuring best-selling thriller and YA author Bonnie Hearn Hill, humorous astrology author Hazel Dixon-Cooper, and prescriptive non-fiction author Dr. Dennis Lewis.
